Modeled off of the infamous underground parties at La Scala in the heart of Berlin’s Mitte district, fellow New York DJs/Producers from different parts of the beat spectrum have joined forces to bring to Manhattan’s hottest LES venue, STAY, a new muilti level event, STACKED. This is not just another nightlife party, it is a meeting of minds. Every Wednesday night, a community of people in NYC who are looking for a place to share their ideas, present thier art and dance wildly to the latest and greatest music will find what they are looking for at STACKED.
On the main level, a weekly rotation of local up and coming artists wills showcase thier work against the backdrop of resident NY DJs offering their take on the the jet set. Downstairs a revered headlining DJ/Producer, warmed up by the STACKED residents, will have full reign to do what they do best and pack the dancefloor with bass and sweaty bodies. Residents include those Indie Dance darlings (Pretty) Girls + Lasers, beatmaker and founder of the Powerstrip Circus Collective Slouch, producer and Hip Hop fanatic Solly and event promoter + label manager for the Brooklyn based Subtrak Records, Chris Alker.
Last but not least, STAY will graciously be supplying both levels with an open vodka bar from 11-12pm.
So leave your ipod and your inhibitions at home, this will be a great night.
